Panda 2012+ Special new panda unveiled

You might think that Mercedes and McLaren have been busy churning out new editions of the SLR supercar like madmen (you know, aside from winning the world championship), but they're just taking a page out of the Fiat playbook. The Italian automaker has once again unveiled a new version of its diminutive Panda.

Called the Glam Edition, the special version starts with the Panda 4x4 and updates it with a new pearl white paint job complimented by aluminum roof rails and a new set of 15" alloys, but the Panda 4x4 Glam differentiates itself further inside with denim-style upholstery that should bridge the gap between the hip Diesel Edition 500 and the maternal Panda Mammy. Something tells us this isn't one of those European hatchbacks we'll be pining for Stateside.

ive always liked the panda but for some reason i just think its time for them to abarth it :) would be cool if it had 200BHP. I mean they have done everything else to it so why not eh.

I love the look of the new Panda great. I get told when I email the importer of Fiat in Australia though the currency situation is what affects what comes here. It really stinks. I would love an automatic 4x4 panda.

Panda 100HP would be nice, but I doubt we are going to get them here since small car market is sewn up by the Koreans and Japanese, and they already sell the 500.

Ahhh yes, with proper marketing and pricing they could sell well but there are 2 problems

1. When it comes to the light car market the could never compete on price against the Japs and Korean (I'm not saying that they should though, you don't really any Euro manufacturer doing that here), so really need to approach it from a different angle.
2. Ateco is the importer, so there is the issue of marketing and appropriate pricing (Advertising? What advertising. Also, the 500 is more expensive than then GP??). The end result is the top selling Fiat in Australia is the Ducato and not one of the passenger cars.
