Hi,

i have just successfully converted my Fiat Bravo SX 1.6 16V to 20VT here in Malta never seen one before here except with 16VT but i did it LOL.

I have both Fiat Coupe and Fiat Bravo HGT leather steering wheels, to tell you the truth i prefer to fit the Coupe's leather wheel, splines fits well but im a bit afraid with regards to the Airbag..

any ideas or previous experiences?

shall i leave the current 1.6 SX version airbag ECU / electronics or must be changed with the coupe's units?

im currently doing my hgt to a 20vt

Some one on fiat forum fitted a fiat barchetta steering wheel.

AFAIK the Barchetta wheel is the same as the Coupe's wheel.

Nope you can't fit the Coupe steering wheel on the Bravo/Brava as a direct fit...wanted to do that too in Brava (SOLD OFF).

Apparently if you want to still do it, you have to change the whole steering rack...
