i have a nice speckled finish to my paintwork thanks to a big steel building being built 50 yrds from where i park at work.they have steel workers grinding away all day up in the air and it has only happened since they started building.a few other cars at work are the same, its not to bad only tiny speckles but its only gonna get worse.is there anything i can do to remove it.?polish, clay bar??
any advice would be good, meanwhile im looking into a claim..lol

re

Clay Bar is like Magic

good wash first then you will be amazed!

when i got my VRS the roof felt really rough, rest was a bit rough as it had been parked down a overgrown lane, i was amazed how much brown and green tree sap etc came off!

yeh i agree! amazing stuff liek i said.

wash, dry very swiftly, and then clay. u get a kit, detailer and the clay far, the detailer acts as lubricant, u spray it ont he car and then just glide the bar over it.

watch that. maguiers do a kit for about £13.

need any help, give me a call.

If it were me I'd ask to speak to whoever is in charge of construction and ask them what they intend to do about the damage to the car.

update:
.the development site is part of a £350 million pound site and i have spoken to the main contractor.they are going to "deal with it,i got the idea they didnt give a toss so am going to ring the main director on tuesday with a complaint..but for the moment i have bought a clay kit, with detailer and wax and microfibre cloth and i will do it this weekend..if i leave it to the company it could take days even weeks to go through there insurance.and i dont want this metal going further into the paint.
so i will see how i go,i will try and get some pictures up if i can.
