2 items on my list, the first being the valve/sensor for the charcoal canister, the bravo has it under the wing but the coupe has it next to the plenum, which connection to it should be used? the coupe engine loom or the bravo car loom? (unless the bravo loom seperates somewhere?)

the second question is pretty easy, how do you get the 20 pin connector apart to make the wiring changes? or do you need to hack the loom :)()

Thank you,
Anon :)

i love how annon must be a normal BOO person who just doesn't want us to guess who it is!!

And I lost you after the charcoal canister bit.... so I can't help. sorry :(

Don't connect the evap system as you need an extra line that the bravo doesn't have as the filler neck is different. It's a waste of time to connect it as I did then ended up removing it a year later.

As for the wiring good luck ;) If your local to London I can wire up the complete loom for ya?

i've sorted out the evap system, i got it all connected up fine, compared it to pictures of Tommy's bravo and used a short section of pipe to join the two without ends.

isnt it dangerous to not connect it? it would create a massive vacuum in the tank?

apparently the 20 pin connector doesnt come apart so i will have to solder the loom :(

No because the 20V 155 doesn't use an EVAP system unless your car wasn't a 20v to start with ;)

The plug you are talking about will have to be cut and soldered as its the connections for the AUX system e.g cooling fan, AC, taco, MIL etc it is a bit of a pain working out what wires go where.

mine 'was' a 20v 147 model which did have the evap system :)

i have already done all the work to find what i need to change, i just need to make the physical changes on the loom, i was hoping to be able to just move the pins on the connector block but it looks like that isnt possible :( i guess i will have to cut the loom :(

i've had the ECU decoded and disconnected the CODE box :)

Decoded on first ECU but now it's coded up. Plus i have another alarm and tracker. I don't mess to many thieves in London.

If you have the code removed it is virginised. If you plug in the code box then the ECU will set to that code box. If you never plug in the code box the ECU will always be a virgin.

thats what i assumed in the first instance but was told otherwise recently by someone who does the virginising (teehee!)

i'm confused over another matter now, althought i did all the loom changes on paper when i've tried to change them today i've discovered a few seem to be missing, ie they are on the wiring diagram but not on the loom

also, 2 of the colours given on the wiring diagram dont exist... maybe thats my dodgy scanned diagrams?

they are HM and HB, neither appaear on the loom or on the wire colours sheet in the manual :S

thanks

do you know that the corrections are? i'm a little confused.

from my original plan i now have 4 changes i couldnt make/check

the previously mentioned HM and HB thats done exist on the colour chart and:

Car Loom - Engine Loom
GREY-YELLOW - GREY-YELLOW
GREY-BLACK - GREY-BLACK

help?

okay, i've sorted them all except the GREY-YELLOW wire, this is the engine oil pressure sensor according to the wiring diagram but i....i...well i couldnt be assed to climb about to get to the oil pressure sensor to try and trace it :)

i'll do it tomorrow.
