Hi! I've got a FIAT Brava 1.2 petrol...and I've just removed my spark plugs and I found that one of them has some oil on. I know that cant be good, but i still wanna ask if this could be fixed by cleaning the piston rings? And how do you recommend this cleaning to be done? 10x a lot!

Which end of the plug has oil on it? If the engine is burning oil the plug will be black and covered in oil residue.

it's the end that's facing the cylinder. It's not really black..but still has some oil on it...and the car is not that old..there's only 40 000 miles on the clock! 10x

Is the car running smooth? If the plug is wet then its not firing. if the rings are worn you will be burning blue smoke
