ok here goes my explanation, yesterday (friday) i got myself a new radiator as the old has nearly had it, today, i think `right i`ll change mine over`, famous last words!
the radiator company, Oldham Radiator Company to be precise, said they`ll give me a blank plug where the radiator switch usually goes,




so i thought great, nice one. so today i`m busy takin parts off after drainin the system, gettin my new radiator out ready, i fit the old plastics bits to the new radiator and then i thought ah, hang on the blank plug!
thats when i found out it was to SMALL to fit, arrrgggghhhh!,
Halfords is shut so i`m knackered til tomorrow,
i`m gonna get a rad switch that fits, and if i can charge the radiator company for the part i need to fit the radiator hole, so now i have two radiators

and a flamin hole where a radiator should be

moral of the story, don`t leave things to the last second, arrrggggghhhh well annoyed with myself

I know how you feel bud. i have been refurbing my wheels today, ao i went to halfords to get the paint, got what i needed. got 3 done and then run out of primer!!! so car is on 3 17" wheels and 1 15" its so annoying!! i too left it too late.

yipee! i`m back on the road, i tried, british motor stores, carcraft motor stores and a few others to no avail, this is what i did, went back to Oldham Radiator Company and they managed to fit a rad switch in the above hole and now i have my baby back on the road with a shiny new radiator and i do mean shiny its all silver, YIPEE!!!!

and to keep it from rusting rob spray the tabs with wd 40 every 6 months i do that with mine even though i have a brand spanker one which i made in mine sorry rob that i couldnt get u one if its any consolation i couldnt get furry one either
