i couldnt be bothered to do any uni work today so i decided to fix my dials because the heater one wasnt working properly because i had rushed putting them back last time. Anyway, while i was at it i thought i'd paint the centres, but im not sure if i like them now they are in, i think they may make them look a bit tacky. what do you lot think? ( srry the pics are so big, i dont know why???

Then i fitted my bonnet lifters, have i got them up the right way? does it matter?

Then put some blue bulbs in my fogs so that the light is the same as i get from the phillips vision plus' in my marea lights, prob not legal but looks quite cool,

Looks good to me Ash , fitting my bonnet lifters at the weekend ( and changing dash centre vent , coding new blue key and refitting drivers side door card as i can see one of the clips after i switched over to the leather interior , oh and changing ciggy lighter bulb and cleaning aforementioned leather , should keep me quiet for a few hours ) .

You still down Hayes way still ?

V. Nice Fella, looks mint!

Where do you get the bonnet lifters from?

Cheers
Nathan

@ andy- im up there some times, basically whenever i have loads of uni work to do. The bonnet lifters are easy to fit but they don't fit exactly, i had to file down a small part of the wing on each side where the top "ball" on the lifters clipped it as the bonnet closed. They only took 20 mins though in all.

looks nice mate, very clean :)

don't think it matters which way bonnit lifters are fitted, mine are the other way and they work so.....

@ nathan- i got them from the german ebay, the link was on here a few weeks ago, only took 3 days to come. £20 in total(29euro)

One of the nicest examples of a HGT i've ever seen.

Think the bonnet lifters are wrong way round. See Insy's Guide. But to be honest i dont think it matters as long as they do there job.

Not impressed with those dials, think the standard black MK2 ones where nicer suited.

Also why are your sidelights not working? Hmmm. :)

You got the connectors for them? Also i think your fogs are legal aslong as they are still 55W and dont shine blue.

Joske

Looks very nice. I would agree with Joske. Would look better in black.

Joske I think sidelights do work :)

Also what is this switch on the right side of the wheel for ?

The switch resets the milometer. Yours must have one aswell mate, my JTD does.

Actually I was thinking on that thingy which you can roll up and down :) ??

really nice car mate! up there with paulR old one, iv bin thinking and i think the major difference that sets them apart from other bravos to me is the colour coded bump strips, so think im gunner have to do it to mine! anyone done it on a heraldic blue bravo wanna show me a picture?

Oh right, thats the dimmer switch for the dials back light. Again yours should have one.

Joske

i cheers for your comments lads, i thought all models had the dimmer switch.

I have got the connectors for the sidelights but i dont like the way they shine in that "half moon" shape so i didnt bother connecting them, ive got them all wired in so i'll just plug them back in for the MOT.

the fog light bulbs are 55w so they shouldnt be a prob. whether they last that long i dont know. The bulbs are from a b&q 1,0000000000000000000000 candle watt rechargeable torch that i had lying around.lol

and i think i am going to leave the dials alone, its so nice to have them all working correctly for once, i know if i take them out again i will probably mess them up.
