Hi Guys

A friend of mine is buying either a bravo or punto this morning. One thing bothering me. The guy who is selling them both says they both have 6 gears + reverse on them. I do not know any model in either vehicle that has this. Can you please advise further. L reg Punto and M reg Bravo

unless hes being silly and including neutral neither of them should have six froward gears.

iirs the only puntos to have 6 forward gears are the mk11's, the more angular ones that took over from the turbo shape, but on that reg its the mk1 shape. and there werent any k reg bravo's made mate, abd i doubt that it would have 6 speed unless it was custom fitted!

The earliest Bravo was on a N Plate.

The Mk1 1.2 16V sporting had 6 gears + reverse.

there is a mk1 punto with a 6 speed box.

it had the 1.2 8v engine.

Thanks but they have bought the punto. I think its a 1.1 55 el on a L plate - £500. I still have my doubts
