I'm looking to put in a motorised screen with sat nav, dvd, tv, cd, radio and i also want to run my ipod through it , so basically HELP! i don't know where to start! oh it would also be a bonus if i can get sat nav that detects the speed cameras as opposed to having a road angel on the dash board!

Any helpful suggestions would be much appreciated.

well im trying to get a friends sat nav working rite now funnily enough... his is a pocket pc with tom tom go however while trying to install extra software that would enable tom tom to see speed cameras he's buggered it all up and now nothing works... suggest a pioneer head unit from caraudiodirect.com there is one on there with dvd gps navigation and a flip up screen, they sell an add on that plugs into the back that will control an ipod for a little extra, you would have to get it all installed properly though! alpine do a similar head unit too with the same ipod connectivity it jusr depends which one u can afford. i would suggest going to a car audio specialist to see how much it would cost for all that you want from them first as im sure fitting may cost a bit!

I'm fairly confident with wiring and tight with my money so i would probably fit it myself. been having a look on ebay for kits as im not too keen on spending £1000+

get yourself a cheap old laptop, a 8" screen and a gps reciver, bobs your uncle :)
