I have just renewed my insurance with the above and saved £45 for being a BOO member. This was my best quote by far.

I was wondering if anyone has any past experience about their Flux Breakdown Cover.
How good/bad are they? Any experiences they have had with them.

Thanks.

Rol.

How much was your quote and for which engine and or car.

My insurance is due on 03/09/05 and I have a Marea 20V. Best quote I have had so far is £209 full comp from quoteacar.com

1 good thing about Cumbria

As I live in Cumbria its classed as area 2 so insurance is relatively cheap so I think £210 for me will not be matched. (Yes Wimmy I'm Whitehaven Marra as well lol) £1300 is 3 times the cost I paid for my 1998 R reg Marea 20V

Re: 1 good thing about Cumbria

Was back up there in Whitehaven for the Marine Festival recently :)

Re: 1 good thing about Cumbria

I missed it as I was in Bulgaria. My wife is Bulgarian so we go there for our holidays. when I was in Sofia we booked a week in Greece Half Boared for £89 including a travel to Prilus. It was bloody hot at 43C. Will be going again in October as thier is a new direct flight from Manchester to Sofia for £162.

Just had a quote from Adrian Flux Insurance for my Marea.

'From the details provided we can provisionally offer a price of £239.94.' If I become a full BOO member I will get a discount on that price.

Being a 'OLD GIT' (55 years old) does help
