HI all, my dash has started creaking on the passenger side of the car. Its not the glovebox or anything in it as i have had it all empty and jammed to test and it aint that. Anyone else had this and hopefully a potential cure!

Mine's been doing that for years.
Given up trying to trace it.
Seems to be coming from the bottom of the windscreen, passenger side.

Want a laugh?
I had a rattle coming from the dash of my old Regatta.
Stripped the dash out, drove around for 3 days with it on the back seat.
Where was the noise coming from?



Sunglasses, behind sun visor!
The sound was travelling down the windscreen and seemed to be coming from the dash.

Check the A pillar on the passenger side. It can rub against the dash if its not mounted right.

Have investigated the door rubbing and it aint that. Will check a pillar. Cheers lads
