hi there peeps. i used to be registered on there when the forum first started up a few years back. The site seems to have improved quite a lot since i was last on here, nice one Wimmy!!

I used to own a slightly moddified red 80SX lol. Anyway, i sold that and bought myself a toyota MR2 turbo. Im thinking of buying another bravo now cos i need another car for work and im thinking the HGT will hit the spot nicely for me.

Anyone know of one going cheap with full service history??

I might put some old pics of my car on here if u ask me nicely. hehehe

welcome (back) mate! :)

go on then, post some pics up!

how much do you have to spend?

I want to die peacefully in my sleep, just like my gran did, and not screaming like her passengers were!

not that much, around the 2K mark at the very most.

Unfortunately it was. When Allan sold it on, the young lad who took it off him wrote it off. A sad sad loss

ye he wrote it off but bought anouther Black bravo, put the leather seats and sound system into that one, and the last i heard was that he crashed that aswell!! lol

i do miss the old car though, trouble free motoring (apart from leaky sun roofs) hehe and i quite fancy another one as a 2nd car now.

I would like the 2.0HGT but might settle for the 1.8 cos there better for fuel and i would be using this for work hopefully

Hi Alan (you wont know me, so dont try and remember!lol..)

Just wondering, looking at you old car (R.I.P), what did you use to colour the dash? just regular paint? i am thinking about spraying my door cards thats all....

Also, how was your side mouldings removed? fibreglass or welded plate....

Sorry to through loads of questions your way... by the way my name is...

@ Alan - Not sure if you are aware of Angeltuning (Run by Nige, who no doubt you know).

Get a 1.9JTD have it remmapped to 150bhp, then you have cheap insurance, loads of power and still great mpg ;)

re

hey Al!

yeah heard he was rebuilding your old car, but he flew past me in a line of traffic on way home from cruise somewhere once and you coudl tell he was gonna prang it sooner or later!

i'd get a 2.4jtd marea and get it remapped and exhaust and filter n whatever apparently they will be about 200bhp !lol

its an estate i know, but space has to be useful for something!

Re: re

Paul, the paint was specially mixed up for me as the same red from fiat, sand ut plastic down, prine it, apply ur base colour then laquer it. The bump strip holes were fibreglassed. Hope this helps u.

Can u really get that much power out of the deisel then?? I still wouldnt have one though, there against my religion! hehehe

And an estate, sorry All, that aint gona happen! lol nice to hear from u again

Re: re

@Alan....i was referring to the cream! or did you get the whole dash leathered?
