Got caught on the on the A449 by j2 of the m54. I was coming back from Cannock, and the road it a 60. I kept to 60. Then it goes into a 40 but the road is the same. I changed down a gear and was slowing down to 40. but got caught dong 51mph (mobile van). So looks bad 11mph over limit but was slowing down blatent way to get money.

Just a warning if any of you are down that road.

the 40 sign does not mean 'start slowing to 40 now', it means 'no faster than 40'.

If you were doing over 40 after the sign they have got you fair and square.

I know not complaining. Problem is bound to be acidents ironically. As everyone noticed camera braked and almost was pile up.

One of the unreported side effects of cameras...

They need to ditch speed cameras and introduce 'driving like a ****' cameras.

Was saying to someone yesterday you brake when you see one even if your within the limit its a reaction. Someone my mate knows was speeding saw a camera van and braked then skidded and hit the van! thats **** driving. was doing some silly speed.

He is trying to sue claming the van caussed the accident by being there. but he shoudn't have been speeding.

Well £60 fine i guess it will be. You would think i would be driving slowly around watching my speed but instead been frowning driving llike a loon! sure that will wear off tomoorow.

what do they allow b4 you get a ticket??? coming down a 30mph road today and spotted one sitting on the side of the road, i was just cruising but when i looked down i was a needle thickness over 30, so at max 32,33. is that within tolerance?

Yup!

Not only would 32.33 mph be within the tolerance, your actual speed would be around 29.097 mph.
Unless you had your speedo calibrated to be accurate.
Uncalibrated speedos are usualy around 10% out, in favour of boy racers/posers/boasters/wannabees.
