I know nothing about cars.
My Bravo makes a grating sound as you lift the clutch to the start of the biting point. When I first set off the sound doesn't seem to happen but after driving a while is starts again.
Any ideas what this might be and what it might cost?

Age, milage and model of car?

Its the basic Bravo 80 1.2 16v, 1999, and about 55k on milage

Time for a new clutch, £300ish is the usual sort of price for a garage to do it.
