has anyone got a passengerside airbag for sale ? even a deployed one would be great or know where i can get one?

i have called around a few scrap yards but no joy as yet

I asked my local dealer about the cover... its part of the airbag.

Why not do some fibreglassing?

yeah i got same responce from dealer as well tom and from a few breakers yards.

fibreglassing is on the cards if all else fails, i was hopeing for the cover though, even if it is split (deployed) i can use it as a mould.

i have never done fibreglassing before, to be completly honest it scares the **** out of me, lol

but it is certanly something i might have to resort to

I'm after one too. What kind of mould do you need for fibreglassing. Are you able to get the grain effect in there. If you use a silicone mould you get all the detail, but would it be structurally sound? I tried fibreglass at Uni, it was a nightmare because our resin didn't harden properly.
