Remap offer for June and July 2011

A remap will improve your vehicle's drivability, provide you with more power and torque, and in most cases improve your MPG, especially if you drive a turbo-diesel.

For all remaps booked and completed in June and July, ExpertTuning is offering a price of 225 if the customer comes to our premises. Our usual price for most vehicles is 249. If more than one vehicle is remapped at the same time we will offer additional discounts or provide a mobile service for the same price as our 'come to us' service.

These prices apply to standard vehicles, not to vehicles with engines that have been heavily and individually modified.

Please feel free to call for more details or to ask what we can do for your vehicle. You will also be able to see what we can do for the most popular vehicles by visiting our website.

sadly I dont feel like my normally aspirated petrol 1.6 Hyundai i30 Premium would see enough gains in economy or power to even be worth the offer price.

I think you need to go and get the MJet back then

On balance... Nah! I wouldnt get anywhere much faster or use much less fuel, and petrol is 6p / litre cheaper lol! But I know I'll get wherever I'm going, & back too in this car :-)

I worked it out and I'm better off with my 1.4 petrol compared to a 1.9 diesel . Bearing in mind I do 16-20k miles a year!. The cross over period were it's worth while getting a diesel is about 22k miles.

Much less to go wrong on a N/A petrol car too . No stupid DPF's or EGR's to fail and piss you off everything you drive.

If you were closer I'd come along as I need a remap again after fitting higher lift cams .

Exactly my reason for changing Chris!

Re: Remap offer for June and July 2011

Bit of a revival. After noticing Expert tuning is doing a 150 offer if we book by then end of this week I have a decision to make. I want to get my car remapped, but I had my heart set on Red Dot, purely because they have done everyone elses and nothing bad has been said bad about them. But on the flip side I have never heard of Expert Tuning but its cheaper than Red Dot haha. Has anyone on here been to E.T? No offence to the OP just trying to get views on your work and comparisons.

Regards
Adam

Re: Remap offer for June and July 2011

Exactly, there are loads of reviews on RedDot and their service but if E.T (as I'm now calling them) is a good enough alternative I could save myself some money.

Haha Ffoxy, I thought you had gone insane on me for a second

Re: Remap offer for June and July 2011

The trouble with getting recommendations on the forum is that I need the first forum member to take the plunge.....

To try and put your minds at rest:

The website shows many testimonials, including a full review from an independent magazine that can be verified.

We offer a money-back guarantee. Take a look at the original Ducato thread for details.

We are covered by motor trade insurance.

If you have any questions - following what appears to be a new nickname for ExpertTuning - please phone ET at home......

01883 341774 or 07525 479932

Thanks

Paul
