Thank you for joining in with the 30 second auctions too! This raised £67.10!! I totally stunned because this means another hospital can have a delivery of gifted packs of 30 gowns, not boxed but posted too. Thank you x
Mark informed me the Fiat group did really well with the table quiz. The Saabies spent too much time arguing over the SAAB engine size...
Sorry the bridge got stuck, but still, entertaining.

sounds like we missed a good day.., :)

Charlie and Heather - Poole currently:rolleyes:

Special thanks to Tony & Liz for prompting us to get started on organisation again, John and Deirdre for their hospitality, Trudi and Mark for the Saabish invitation and everyone for coming and being such great company. Mel, think of the Jenga as already in the boot! See you all in 2016.

Slightly odd postscript to the run and dinner yesterday.
Went out to retrieve the mistletoe kindly given to us by Liz, and left in the car boot overnight - boot would not open! tried both boot latch and key fob - stayed firmly locked.
Much research on FF initially seemed to point to the boot wiring (with plenty of good advice offered by a certain jrkitching) . I was not a happy bunny at this thought.
However this did not seem logical - yeah I know, logic and Fiats!!!!
More web searching, and a US forum suggested a roof reset (we have a 500c).
Out to the garage, roof reset procedure et voila! We have an opening boot

But why? We did not use the soft top at all yesterday, and only opened the boot once (for mistletoe stowage purposes), as we have done many times before without this happening.
Wierd and wonderful things Fiats

Wow, owning a both a 900 and a Panda mean I should DEFINITELY have come to this...

Still - sounds like fun was had, would be good to make it down for Jenga next time!

Maybe next year?
The few issues I had this year have been acknowledged by the RLNI. They do listen to feed back.
As for Poole council and that Twin Sails bridge....very pretty but when it gets stuck it reminds us all Victorian engineering is best. Yep, traffic gets diverted over the old bridge...which I have never heard anyone mention getting stuck.
