So we are teaming up with various different car clubs this time to get this event up and running. VVOC, Abarthisti, FiatForum, Scottish Fiat Enthusiasts, Fiat-Scotland, and ofcourse, Astra Owners Network. We require a minimum of 10 cars, which will work out at £40 per car, and with the more people wanting to attend, the better the deal for us. A BBQ will hopefully be supplied, and if not, there's a burger van that's quite good round the corner so no one will starve. Please note, however, 2WD is the only option here as they don't have a 4WD dyno available.

It was worth a try.

Certainly was, but does it you think if its worth doing any more since not one person replied. I'll try again with another event a little later in the year, since it is in the middle of holiday season.

When did you post the thread? Bear in mind that the majority of FF members are based south of the border (for their sins) so would likely need plenty of notice to head to Scotland for any kind of event/meet. It's also worth adding a link into your signature next time, so that all 645+ of your posts become an advert for the event.
