TBH - I was hoping the drive up past the HGV layby last year was longer / more interesting..,

i think i can managed that... I'll have a look on googlemaps and workout a route, i suspect it will involve some roads i haven't actually used - but i have an idea which will take us down the cool road we went on last time but in the opposite direction, and through the forest and a bit of next to the river sweeping road..

ok i have a nice route, google says 26 miles & 51 mins - now all i have to do is try and remember it hahaha

Just bear in mind I have a 25 litre fuel tank

does it use a litre every mile???

you best get a jerry can then boyo haha. in all serious though, there is a garage just down road from clearwell caves in Coleford, Shell garage iirc. Its 1.3 miles from the caves carpark.

Anyhoo this is the route i planned - not that anyone needs to worry about it or try remember it, i know where i am going

Don't worry guys I was actually planning on bringing a small can of fuel with me as stopping at petrol stations attracts to much attention

Sorry guys for not being very active on the forum. Been very busy with my university. I will do my best to attend tomorrow's meet in Betty Might bring my other half too if she wakes up in the morning.. I shall see you all tomorrow!

Well nearly had to pull out tomorrow as I've been having carburettor issues but after a mammoth carb strip and rebuild I'm now back on ...... Jerry can and AA card on standby of course

lol, yeah it goes right past my house in ruardean lol... but its a great upto and another good'un back out so seemed rude not to. I'll take it easy up front for you gadge mate - perhaps we can have the 126 near the front so we don't lose you hahaha
