I realise details are a bit sketchy at the moment, but following on from the discussion thread here and a telephone call from Tony to request if I could start this thread, here it is.

Following on from the poll, the date has been set as the 13th July 2014 and it will be a picnic.

I have just set a general location in the New Forest for now --> now updated.

No doubt Tony will be back over the next few days to update everything :)

UPDATES added:

The plan so far is to meet at The Green Dragon (Brook, just off J1 of the M27) as normal at 10:30 on Sunday 13th July. Coffee for those that want it followed by a convoy drive and a photo stop if the weather is kind enough. We will then head to a picnic location. More to follow on activities shortly.

ALL is welcome, this isn't limited to just 500s :)

Messaged you Yellow Luigi (Mark and Kirsty)
I'm going to wash Dot before this event- honest!

Is this the 500 meet you had last year, or is it open to non 500 owners? Sorry it's not clear from the info above.

I'll rephrase that, I'M not clear from the info above. That may or may not have something to do with driving over 1100 miles in a Classic Panda this weekend, so please excuse any apparent stupidity..... ;)

Most of the attendees are indeed owners of 500 but, as said many times before, ALL Fiats are welcome (and non Fiats too)! I've been coming in my Punto Abarth for 4 years now without ever feeling left out. Great bunch of people;) Do come!

Brilliant thanks - will consult my diary..... (y)

Tbh I've only seen the pics in the past which seem to be 500's & never saw threads about the event in advance. This is what happens when you rarely stray into different sections (I'm usually involved in the madness which is the Classic Panda section). ;)

Palio, as with all FF events everyone is welcome.

Hi Guys, apologies for being a little slack with updating the this thread but unfortunately I was a little indisposed and would like to express my thanks to Stu for stepping in to save the day. Also thanks to Mark and Kirsty at team Yellowluigi for arranging all of the route and photo opportunity details and picking out a great spot to have the picnic. Let's hope the weather is favourable.

Cheers

Tony

Just a few more days to go. Hope the weather holds.
