Upcoming dates
All times have been adjusted for the timezone: Europe/London

This event has expired and has no upcoming dates
We have been out and checked the route this evening, successfully avoiding ponies, cows and donkeys! It looks like the rain will be overnight, with predictions of finer weather for the day and certainly for lunch time. So, picnic or bust!!

Picnic made, packing car now, rain stopped (y)!!

Should be a good day :D

Hi

I'm sad to say we can't come after all. My wife has fallen ill overnight and needs to looked after.

Have a fun time and we'll see you at the Christmas meet.

Chris and Jean.

Many thanks again for arranging today's get together - Esme and I really enjoyed the day and meeting you all again (y)

A nice touch was the perfect weather:)

An excellent turnout yet again, this must be one of the most popular Non-Official FF events on the calendar. Many thanks to everyone for your continued support and look forward to seeing you all again at Xmas.
Special thanks to Mark & Kirsty for planning another great road trip and photo stops as well as picking a great location for our picnic lunch. Looking at the way everyone was tucking in to their lunches it really was a good decision to have a picnic instead of the usual pub lunch.
In fact, even Ian seemed to enjoy his lunch despite not expecting to be able to attend and having to make a pit stop at a petrol station en route to buy some grub.
The games were an added bonus and went down very well and this time everybody could mingle easily which is not the case when you are in a pub so perhaps this might be our format for future summer events.
As you will see from the pictures the weather was indeed kind to us and if there was anything to complain about it was that it was too hot. :D
Hope that everybody made it back OK and below is a link to the pictures I took as it would be OTT to post them all on here but below are some, just to give you an idea as to the way things went and the obligatory @ben group shot. :).

p.s. Today was the first time that the convoy got separated but thanks to everybody's due diligence we all managed to regroup and ended up together at the same place in the end.

Thanks to everyone for coming today, we had a really great time. Special thanks to Tony and Liz for organising and Mark and Trudi for bringing their camper van and laying on hot drinks. Already planning for Christmas!!!! See you all then if not before. Kirsty will post some of our photos soon.

Had a great day, Thanks to all attendees.

After we left you all we went to the coast then wound our merry way home avoiding motorways. Managed 53.3 MPG over the 274 mile round trip so well chuffed, but ready for a rest now!!!

I think I need a four day weekend and three day week.

I agree with all the above a great day out, as everyone else it talking MPG...I got 24.7 on the way home

Hopefully someone will notice they have won the Booby Prize- Is this yours?

I wondered where they had gone. In all the kefuffle of packing away the gazebo, table and chairs must have overlooked them. Whereabouts are you based in Dorset, if not too far from Bournemouth the wife can arrange to get them collected or failing that can you keep them somewhere and bring them to the Xmas meet?

Thanks again for rescuing them.

Tony

Thanks all, we had a great time.

Woke up in the early hours after hearing a loud crashing noise then had visions of tumbling blocks and shouting cheering crowds.

Just been to the doc and have been prescribed some meds to clam me down, it appears I have Jengaphobia!!!:D
