Hi all,

This one might be of interest!

The Ace Cafe in London are holding an Italian car meet on Thursday 9th June, so Uno owners might find it interesting to go along.

I'm hoping to go, depending on work commitments, but will have to go down via Honda as I don't get my Uno back until next Monday.

Anyone else thinking of going?

Scroll down and look for the heading 'MONTHLY MEETS - CARS'. Then you'll see 'Italian Car Meet' is on every '2nd Thursday' of the month. So the next one should be this Thursday 9th.

It's on from 6pm!

I hope be going, but will have to turn up in a Honda Prelude. At least it's red!

You might see me there, depends on whether or not the car is ready in time. Shes in a bit of a mess at the mo lolz shes got mark 1 wings and mark 2 bonnet and lights and grille at the mo lol aint had time to stick on the mark 1 grille, bonnet and headlights hehe

Everyone, please check the ACE Cafe website immediately before going just in case there is any change of plan on their behalf. I wouldn't want people to go and find out it has been cancelled. I've never been before so am not sure how reliable it is.

All being well, I should be there too. Hopefully around 7.30pm as to get there before then will mean hitting the rush hour in Watford/ North London (ugh!)

I'll be in a red 'J' registered Honda Prelude, but seeing as it's Italian car night I might have to hide it round the corner and walk to the cafe...

Anyway, it will be nice to see other Uno's there and have a good chat! I promise my Uno will be along for next month. Might even have a chance to polish the paintwork before then too

the only real question is...should i wash her for the first time in three months...or leave her in all her dirty beeatch glory........or leave her at home and bring the cutsey panda instead!

All is set for me to go. Hopefully get there about 7.30pm. Be great to bump into some of the forum regulars there!

And Turboned, bring the turbo mk1 Uno! It will be nice to see a mk1 there. As to whether to wash it or not, it's up to you. I assume there will be a lot of gleaming Italian beasts on display, so it might look a bit out of place if it's all dirty. Then again, at least it will look like a daily driver, unlike some of the exotica that probably only venture out when it's dry and sunny.

Don't think ACE cafe site will be updated if it ain't on - it's just a venue (car park, basically). If anything it'll be the clubs that arrange to meet. At the worst it'll be a mini-FF meet!

I'll have the camera taking photos where I can get away with it, so if you don't wanna be in the pics, then turn around or tell me!

Just finished work and I'm leaving to go approx. 7pm. Hope it won't take too long to get there.

I'm bringing my camera to take some pics of interesting cars, hopefully a few Unos!

Hi all,

Just to say that the ACE Cafe Italian car meet is a nice place for a mini Uno gathering. Quite a few Fiats there of all types, plus Alfas and even a Ferrari.
Surprised that there were no Lancias present though.

There were four Uno's present! Three Turbos and one 1.1S. Would have been five Unos if I'd had mine to take. There was also another Uno turbo there - mk2 front end on a mk1 'C' reg (I'm not alone in having a 'C' reg Uno!) I gave the owner the Fiat Forum details, though his turbo is actually up for sale.

Nice to meet some FF members there - Fro$ty, Turboned and TS86. Cool to put a face to the names! Hope to see you guys there next month too, and maybe we can get a few more Uno's down.

One suggestion would be for us to organise going down a bit earlier (well, more like me getting there earlier as I was late ) and try and get all the Uno's next to each other. That would look pretty cool

Next Italian Car meet at the ACE cafe is on Thursday 14th July from 6pm. I'll have my Uno back by then so will be going down. Hope to see more Unos there!

Yeah, it was great. I think Chas, maybe post about this in the General forum. Get some more Fiats down there.
I got their way too early and ended forgetting about my camera (left it in the glovebox).

Wow what a busy week its been. Ace Cafe was pretty kool, first time i've been to an italian night there. Might have to make it a regular thing from now on. Good to see some other turbos there, as well as meeting a few of the FF members, Turboned, TS86 and Chas among them. Probably see you guys again there next month Hopefully with a few cosmetic changes to the uno, new wheels and front end completed properly. hehe

Yes, all going to plan I'll be down at the ACE Cafe Italian car meet on Thursday week. With my Uno this time!

Don't forget it's on the 14th (second Thursday of the month).

This coming weekend I'll also post up on here for a reminder, and I'll also post in the other Fiat sections too so as to try and get a good selection of Fiats down

Trying to get my Uno looking a bit better as it's badly in need of a polish, and the rear seats are down with the whole boot area full of junk! Must spend a bit of time on it over the next few days...

So who's coming down for this meet? Fro$ty? Turboned? TS86? Anyone else?

Hope the weather is a bit better next week too.
