Scottish Italian Car Day, 25th May 2014

About

Scottish Italian Car Day is organised by the Alfa Romeo Owners Club with help from us Fiat fans. It features all sorts of Italian motors from Fiat and Alfa to supercars such as Ferrari and Maserati

Last year was our second year at Hill of Tarvit Mansion and although a beautiful location I think we all agree it was too small for the show. The extraordinary turn out from Fiat Forum and Fiat Scotland meant that not everyone could park in the garden and some people were on the road instead. So with this in mind the location is changing

2014

This year the show is moving to Cairnie Fruit Farm & Mega Maze just a few miles from Tarvit. This is also Fiat Scotland's 10th anniversary so come along and help us celebrate whether you are a member or not. Everyone is welcome and all Fiat's will go on the stand regardless of model and/or condition.

The FF/FS gazebo (a new one) will be ever present as will the bbq along with cold drinks and various snacks. We're a friendly bunch so if you've never been to one of our meets/shows before make sure you introduce yourself to whoever is hanging around the bbq/gazebo

I'll keep a space in my diary..,
bit of a long trip though..!! ;)

charlie - Oxford

VmanC and his missus made the trip a couple of years back in the Panda all the way from Hampshire if I remember correctly :worship: although it was part of a holiday trip :D

If you do make the show though you have to introduce yourself to us. You won't be able to miss me as I'll probably be stuck in a very fetching hi-vis waistcoat helping marshal the event or hanging around the gazebo/bbq

Aw I would LOVE to go to this, but I'm worried my wee Punto will look rubbish next to everyone else's cars :(

Broom Yellow is "the business" ,

turn-up = have a great time,

Charlie : - }

Well it would be fun to meet up with fellow Fiat owners... I'm on a quest to learn all I need to know about my Punto so that I can fix things if they go wrong, so perhaps I might learn a thing or two from the more experienced people here... :)

Grande punto mate, ill try get my mate in his evo too

Sorry for the late reply but not been about much. Much appreciated if your mate comes along too. can you click the add me button at the top of the page please

Hello, as Charlie says broom yellow is the biz and will be very welcome on the stand. My motor isn't going to be up to much this year as thanks to time and money-constraints it won't get the professional valet before hand. It'll still go on the stand though although probably hidden at the back somewhere :D

Seriously though, your mk 2 looks pretty good and definitely stand-worthy material. Again please click add me so that we know you're coming along

It's usually 10 am - 4 pm. In the past 2 years we've advised folks to arrive between 9 and 10 to get on the stand as the show site was small. However it's a new site and hopefully bigger so not as urgent. I'll ask over on FS and someone will update here later

Your offer is much appreciated however things are usually set up the night before. We will be looking for volunteers nearer the time to do a bit of marshalling if you're interested in helping out with that. Let us know

I've missed this the last year or 2, and this years is even closer to home for me so no excuses really. Should be fun!

I'll most probably be more of a spectator so, the question is:
100HP
Alfa 159
or sod this Italian malarkey and just take the Elise.

The car park at these shows is always worth a wander around too as they obviously attract other enthusiasts.. ;)

No need to be a spectator as we'd love to have 100HP on the stand. We haven't got one yet so there's the chance of the novelty factor plus there'll be bbq, banter and a few other things not announced yet.

Go on, you know the Fiat makes sense (y)
