Yes, I know we're stretching the definition of the Midlands just a little: but at least we're still in England -- just. ;)

The idea is to meet up at Jo's Place Ltd for brunchfast (say 11:00 -- although I'm open to suggestions for different times: as I know this could be quite a drive, for some...) -- as greasy-spoon-type meets/meats seem very popular; and may well become MI's unique selling point...! :D

If enough sign up to this, I shall book a table -- so please add your name ASAP...! :worship:

We can then travel to one of the area's many beauty spots: e.g. Symonds Yat, or somewhere in the Forest of Dean -- although these may be busy, if it's a nice day. (y)

Sorry folks it's over 2 1/2 hours each way for me which is no fun at this time of year in an old car (or a new one come to think of it!). Go back in the Summer & I'll happily go, but early March

Hope it goes well though (y)

Just to put it in context I got to a show in Newport on the Isle of Wight in just over 2 hours - that was in a 127 & included the ferry crossing!!

I won't be attending as this is too close to my mums birthday so need the cash to buy her birthday present to stay in the good books!

Not only that I don't fancy a long drive due to medical reasons, sorry!

Just checked on maps that's 127 miles - 2 hours 9 minutes each way which to my calculations 254 miles and 5 hours 8 minutes...........yeah bugger that!

Sadly, as Sunday is a working day for me, just getting a bit busier too, so can't afford to take another off just yet.

Now, a Saturday, I'd be there. (Although not 8th March, I'm on a first aid course.)

no worries , plenty of more "south-central" meets planned for the better weather,
just needed somewhere with food + shelter if the weather turns..,

although of course it will be a gorgeous spring day..!!
