Subscribed.

This is something that id be very interested in doing.

I think its about time us Brits showed our faces ! (y)

500 miles....... i think i may have to book a b and b !

Might be a plan tbh leave Friday morning or so then stop off in Belgium at a b&b then do the rest of the journey. 10hr + stint I a cento might be a bit much doable with stops. Or was going to see ost of euro tunnel to Brussels reduce journey down a bit

Euro tunnel sounds good, i wonder if we'd get a discount for having small cars ?

Yes defo camp it. Can drink lots of German beer on sat night then. Just thinking b&b to split journey up. The way I see it couple of options

Dover-Dunkirk
Hull-holland
Eurotunnel

First option more continent driving cheapest fare around 30 each way
Send option less continent driving fare around 55 each way
Same. As first just quicker journey time fare around 44 each way

Leaning towards first option tbh. Opinions?

Im really looking forward to this , ive set this as the goal time to get my car finished.

This is certainly something that interests me, it would make a good target to get the 16v conversion started & finished by :D It seems like the perfect opportunity to have a road trip aswell and do something actually interesting with my life for a change :p

I should be able to get the funds together for this :)

Edit: Harwich is closest here (About 100 miles less) however I haven't looked at any prices, just a quick look on google maps, Hull is ok from here too.
