YORKSHIRE ITALIA - April Meet

Similar to the first meet. but more driver orientated.

Meet at York Designer Outlet off the A64/A19 Junction. at 11am, setting off at 12pm.

Drive to the Lion Inn on the Blakey Ridge. A bikers cafe but very welcoming and excellent food.

Evening Drive on the Moors.

haha we will just have to turn the bikers cafe into a italian car cafe for the day. lol.

Are we alrite just turning up at the cafe as the last place jst messed you about.

I think i should definatly be able to make this one will just need to bribe my manager to let me have the day off, so will be getting jotted down at the moment because the last one was good fun.

This pub has a huge dining area. and ive booked in there before. But you can just turn up. have done before with a group of 7 and they didnt have a problem

I can call up in a week or 2 and put in a booking. Its only 4 weeks away

They are a friendly bunch up there. Its a bikers pub. but lots of drivers use it as well.

Ahh thats alrite then, will probrably best to give them some warning if there is going to be quite a few of us.

Its probably best that they are friendly as some people dont have the quietest of cars. lol

Again sure i can make the start, driving around is still work load dependant. Mmmm 4 weeks, not sure turbo sei can make it, too much to do to it before i can happily drive it in anger. Cinq or stilo more likely.

Noticed one problem...

Its the SAME weekend as AUTO ITALIA, Brooklands..

so do we keep it this weekend. or do we change it?

Yer i have also realised that however im not going to brooklands. but to get the best turn out it might be best to change the date.

How about 7th of may?

This date is fine for me, im acctually away mid may so dont move it to then

I completely forgot it was the Big Bang on the 7th! cant miss the VDubs

I will leave the date for debate though.

I personally wont be going to Brooklands, and neither will a large proportion of Drivers. So in my opinion we should leave it on the 30th as an Alternative.

I meant between 30th April or 7th May.

Either of those dates should be good for me but the 7th would probably be easyier to get off work but u never know i might not even be rotered in to it so will just have to see til closer to the time.

What do other people think?

Oooh, just realised, 7th May is last game of the season so I will be down south then :\

After trying to resurrect this meet, im afraid i wont be there

picking up the new vauxhall on saturday at 12 from Huddersfield. so unable to attend. hope other people still go

I wont be attending either. I have lots of stuff to prepare for my holiday in a week or so.
