(G) engine swap

ive got a ducato 10 swb with a 1.9 diesel on a v reg. Its too gutless (70 bhp 80ftpds) and burns a bit of oil so want to replace it with either the 1.9 td , 2.5 or 2.8 diesels. I came across a 2.5 out of a 97 van (boxer) but noticed that fiat didnt have the 2.5 as an engine option. So im wondering are the engine mounts the same? any problems i should be aware of?

I'm pretty sure that Fiat did do a 2.5. Since the Citroen/Peugeot/Fiats are the same van with each manufacturer fitting their own engines, I would have thought that thebits to do this swap should be available. Maybe Fiat didn't do it in 10swb. The 2.8 might be a diferent story since, I think, it was only available in the later Ducato and could well be different. Trying to find anyone to give categorical answers is difficult. See the other thread about engine swapping too. I think there are not enough commercial vehicle experts on this board !!
