Hi Guys,
I spoke to a mechanic at a Fiat main dealer and he told me that you check the gearbox oil level by getting under the van, removing the speedo drive and filling with oil till you can see it through the speedo drive hole. It takes between 3 and 4L of oil. BUT be carefull taking out the drive as if it falls into the box it's gearbox out time!!
