fiat camper van1986

Hi,,can anyone out there help...i`ve got a 1986 ducato camper van,2 litre engine,,,,where oh where is the oil filler cap located..!!..the air breather is on top of the engine..and look as i may i just cant find the oil filler,,help in locating it would be much appreciated...

Honestly dont know but I suspect its fed through a large tube,maybe on the front landing panel?

there is a rubber tube that looks as if it goes to the sump,,just beside the dipstick,,,its got a cylinder type attachement ,,but i cant open it ,,could that be the oil filler,,???....its got a hose attached to the top...if thats it ,any ideas how it opens,,ie.clip on or screw on ...

Like I say I honestly dont know but from what you describe it sounds like it,similar set up to a scudo van.I assume it would unscrew.

Hi there.. in case you are still looking for the Oil Filler ! it is the one at the back of the engine by bulkhead just pull out the black plastic breater.. You will need a funnel with long flexiable tube ! I bought one from Halfords and have recently given my 92 Fiat Ducato 2.0L Petrol an oil change and new filter. Cheers Teckie
