Hello,

Remark: This is ESC and not ESP.

I got error messages today for the first time but I went clean up the camper at
the self with a strong powerful karcher.
I've seen that it can be related to water issue but my Ducato is one year old.

Other ideas?

Thx

Hi,
If fault appeared after the pressure washing you almost certainly have got water into a connector or sensor.
Unplug and check ALL connectors near were you jet washed. Any sign of moisture dry it out. A hair dryer is good for this but don't let the better half see you.

I've also removed the battery to exchange the squid back to the original.
The replacing one was giving me errors when turning on the left. This is a second hand and It seems that the wheels were not aligned when removed.

Related ???

They have a squid now? Sounds fishy to me.....

looks like it is an alignment / setup needs to be done in PROXI-align via Multiecuscan to me, having seen similar threads on here. Have a search for proxi-align on the forum to get a feel for what it may involve. There is plenty of knowledge on here.

Thanks, I've tried and the garage also. Can't remove the errors but they have found these ones.

Regards,

Is that with the original squib installed? Did you jetwash the transmission?

Original squib and configuration. No, it was only an external clean-up.

The strange point is that the ESC and hillholder errors are coming after turning the steering wheel. I clean up the errors and they are coming back directly.

Can I drive with that because I'm leaving to Spain in two days.

Thx

The steering angle sensor error is probably causing the other two then. You've probably got a loose/dirty/bad connection after fiddling with the steering wheel / squib. Could also be damaged but I would inspect, clean and reseat the connections first.

Question, to remove the steering, I had to turn the steering wheel with the battery removed and this of course forcing on the power steering and other componants. Possible cause?

The steering has to be centered, squib has to be centered, steering angle sensor has to be centered when you reassemble, if you assembled with the steering angle sensor off center it will go outside normal range generating the error, if you assemble the squib off center you can run out of cable and tear the squib when you turn the steering.

The steering angle sensor has not been removed but the squib that I have placed to get the steering wheel command was not properly removed I suppose because I've reach the limit on the left and the squib ran out of cable.

I get the error B0103 - Driver aribag resistance.

After that I've replaced the original squib and I got the two new errors.

Ive seen alot of codes generated by a faulty alternator,it may be giving voltage but no amperage ,check for loose wiring and bad earth ,abs senders can give crazy codes as well. Just curious where the steering angle sensor is as well. Cheers adam
