Don't drive with no fuel cap on. Even a small amount of diesel spilled on a roundabout or junction can cause an accident and is especially dangerous to bikers.
They stopped selling the plastic "emergency" caps because they leak.

Hi G8, I have one of those plastic 'emergency caps ans it actually seals the filler, surprised me that did but looking for a proper one.

Yes from the same company - axel augustin but its more expensive than ordering directly from them or via amazon.de which is why I linked those. The filler neck changed in 98.
