Anyone attempted a facelift on a X250? Bolt on X290 front?

I'd rather facelift the X2/90 to the X2/50 because I think the X2/50 looks better

The Rapido motorhome 'smiley face' option is the one to go for.

Looks like a throwback to the 90s to me.

Did the brochure say 'Drawing inspiration from the 90's transit, escort and fiesta and taking styling cues from the opel corsa' :D

I think its just cosmetic change for the sake of change to sell it to those who have to have the latest model. Must be better things to do with your money than change the perfectly good panels on the front of your van.

Yeah, had a minor mishap with a skip container (the 45° side) that resulted in cracked right side bumper corner, dented right wing, dented bonnet and broken right-side headlight, the panels are not perfectly good anymore.
Can't do panel work myself, but if it's a bolt-off / bolt-on job can just as well get new panels and headlights from the new model.

This video shows the front of the new model:

Anyone have a picture of a "faceoff" X250 to compare?

There is a fair amount of difference in the scuttle design and fitting as well as the panels, bonnet, lights, slam panel etc.
I would have thought there are plenty of cheap panels and headlights for the X250 on the dismantler network

Yeah, started taking apart some of the front panels yesterday, looks like there are several differences in underlying parts. Too much work :D
Will replace the bumper corner and headlight with new parts, and get the bonnet and wing fixed and painted at a bodyshop.
