Hello, I have a Fiat Ducato 120 multijet van and the alternater has died, I have got the alternater off the van but there are no markings/numbers etc on it so I have no idea what amps it is.
I have looked online and spoken with Fiat but don't know which one I should now buy (110/140/150)
So my question is which one do I buy? Will it matter if I get one that is higher than what was there originally?
There is no aircon.
Many thanks

On sites like this https://www.fiatdalys.lt/en you can find the correct part number.
An alternator with higher output than the original one may cost you a bit more, there are no other consequences. Important is only the distance between the mounting surface and the pulley, so the new alternator must be suitable for an MJ 120.

Thanks very much for your reply, will go ahead then an order one
