My heater controls are faulty and looking to replace the panel (two double knobs and a central climate control push button) on a 2008 Ducato. I have checked the resistor pack and have narrowed it down to the switch which is faulty.

My question is; are the newest model ducato heater controls compatible with the older (x250) model? Units appear virtually identical on fleabay but with updated knobs and a shiny face, as the price is similar to buy the newer one figure may be an upgrade in the process... any thoughts?

If it is the one on ebay being sold for £119 by Hills motors then it appears to be the same as the one fitted to my 2012 Euro5 X250.
I do not know if they are the same as fitted to the 'latest' model, i.e. X290, but I would think it is the same as your 2008 X250

Ps: I see there is the same one being sold by my local breaker Charles Trent for £50.
