I have a 2004 Ducato (lwb, high top) with a Fiamma F65S awning. The awning mounts on the front and rear Fiat provided lugs on the roof. I want to fit some roof bars, with a roller bar at the rear, to take my kayaks. Whilst I can find bars that utilise the standard lugs I can't find one that will also allow the fitting of the awning.

Fiamma provide one for the later model Ducato but how have people done it with my model?

Any useful suggestions will be gratefully received.

Can anyone suggest someone in Somerset who could make some brackets for me to accommodate the rack from the awning mounts.

Why not the other way round? Mount the awning off the roof bars?

Arguably I could mount the awning off the roof bar brackets but I'd still need to get custom brackets made as the awning sits low and back on the roof. I couldn't use vertical brackets/legs and then attach the awning.
