Hi guys, I am a newbie here and I have checked the other reversing switch answers which have helped but I need further information. We have an A class motorhome on a 55 plate which has a very narrow bonnet aperture and it took a couple of pictures from another post to allow me to locate the switch. despite removing the air filter assembly it still isn't obvious or visible but getting under the van I can feel the switch but the problem is that it seems to sit under the clutch slave and it is very difficult to get your hand in, I can feel the switch but have no idea how to remove it. In pictures of replacements I have seen what looks like a threaded switch and also a plastic type and I think it is the latter. any help would be gratefully received as we are off to france at the weekend.

Hi
Welcome to the forum, I have already posted in one of the threads below the link to pictures I took of my Ducato when I had the Air Filter assembly off one day which I am sure you are referring to. If you can't get to it from the top & not knowing your particular vehicle I would think it will be very difficult to remove/replace unless you can get access maybe from the wheelwell.
Attached is a Pic for a replacement Tridon switch with specs.
Hope that helps
cheers

Many thanks freespirit, I think that is different to mine as it doesn't seem to have the area that a spanner goes onto. It feels like it is sooth plastic and I am guessing it has some kind of bolt or screw holding it in through the body or something that you press to release but if I does it ain't obvious. Thanks for the reply though ?
