Well patience is well over rated, I can't get the drivers to install on this laptop either, Multiecuscan is on, but the kkl vag-com 409.1 software seems to be wanting another file, I've tried it several times, so it's I'm wondering if anyone else has the same kit as me, the downloaded version does exactly what the CD does, IE nothing.

I decided to give it one last go before I binned the lot.





I have no idea what I did or what has changed but the ignitor light has gone from the dash.

I did have to make some small wires up as the plug has 3 wires and the socket only 2 and they were the wrong way round.

I have the same engine in my Fiat that had the same intermittent injector light fault. Suddenly you are at half power struggling to climb hills and no more than 40 mph on the flat.
If you also have trouble with the fuel gauge showing faulty readings, it will be the fuel sensor on top of the fuel tank under the passenger seat causing both. Nothing to do with the loom. Fault is now cleared.
