Hello all
I require 2 wheels for the above vehicle. Any ideas re a supplier?
Also, does any member know if it is possible to upgrade it to. alloy wheels?
If not, I would be happy with steel.
I have found that two of my wheels are leaking air from the welded seam.
regards

Hi Caraid, Get thee to a commercial scrap yard. 15" steel wheels with good tyres should cost around £30 each. I bought 4 Michelin Aguilis wheels and tyres straight off an ambulance for£120. They were approx. 1 month old and still had the moulding excess rubber attached. It may take a while to find the right ones but, compared to the price of new ones, well worth the effort. All the Best, Ian

Thank you Clifford.
I am now back home on the Isle of Wight. I have been to our largest scrappy here [not many on the Isle!] with no success. I have also posted a request on the 'breakeryard search' on the net with no success as yet. I have also been told that new wheels are no longer available for this model. do you think this is true? Which other models should I look for?
To aid my search; are there any wheels from a more modern vehicle which would fit? Indeed, are there any equivalents out there?

Best regards
Ian

look in the handbook for the PCD of the 5 x fixing suds / bolts,

the rims on YOUR vehicle will have the info stamped into the rim of offset, rim width etc,

I do not have a handbook. Will look on the web for those wheel stud PCD's. Will also look at the rims. Do I need to take the tyre off?

5x118 pcd 50 offset 71.1 bore according to the interwebs.

Later ducato 15" wheels can be the same pcd but larger offset. Vivaro and Traffic are the same pcd and offset. Whatever you get you have to make sure they'll fit over the drums in the back and you have enough clearance.

People also fit BMW with a spigot ring and wobble bolts: http://www.ebay.ie/itm/SPIGOT-RING-...C-BMW-X5-ALLOY-5-STUD-71-1-72-6-/130576494215

Thank you to all for the help and advice for this issue.
I could not find a wheel but managed to find a good welder to weld the wheel on the inside and he then fitted a new tyre with a tube as a belt and braces measure.
Good result!
A further query re the same vehicle;
I am experiencing some difficulty some times in selecting reverse gear.
Is it possible to adjust the gear linkage [those levers and joints on the top of the gearbox] or is it best left to an expert? It is easier to select reverse if I go into fifth and then straight down to reverse.
regards to all

hi you might find a oil change on the gearbox will help with selection issues its quiet easy to do I had to do mine when I did the clutch at the weekend , and there were a couple of Peugeot Boxers up at cliftongrade ( i live in newport) and they should have the same wheels

Hi Ian, Had problems selecting reverse on my 1996 ducato. Eventually it became impossible. Called AA. Guy found the linkages at the gearbox end had become detached. 2 x 10mm nuts and bolts, job done. Hope your solution is as simple. All the Best, Ian Drake.
