I've just purchased a 1994 fiat ducato 2.5 diesel motorhome .I want to fit a new cambelt can anyone give me information on fitting it as I've never tackled a Ducato before. Thanks

normally safest to "lock" engine with a specialist kit ( some you can hire)

Yeah thanks. I'm a bit confused as to where the timing mark on the crankshaft pulley should line up with. Where I assume it lines up with the u shaped piece of metal welded to the cover plate does not correspond with the camshaft and pump timing it seems to be 2 inches out. Can u tell me where exactly the timing mark on the crankshaft pulley lines up with. Thank you

sometimes you can lay the new belt alongside(on the "spare " few mm of the sprockets)
to confirm what lines up with what..,
