Hi folks,

my car is the Ducato x250 (130 PS).

Can anyone tell me the changes, which were made between the model 2008 and the model 2009?
I don't need all, but some individual.

Thanks!

Background:
3 years ago I have bought the car "model 2009".
In the meantime I know, that the year of construction is 2007, so the car can be at most model 2008.
So I think, the car can`t be model 2009.

If I knew some parts, that were changed from model 2008 to model 2009, I had good arguments against the dealer.

Thank you.

Was there a facelift in 2009? I know that there was the Euro5 facelift in 2011 and now the X290 in 2014 but not aware of anything significant in 2009.
Is it a camper car / motorhome sold with a model year ?

I also don't know of any facelift other than 2011> & 2014 >
They may have changed certain items that have been modified/superseded due to recalls etc but that would have been ongoing,

Have you something in mind or something wrong with your van/mh ?

Remember vans can be built, stored in a field for ages before being registered.

This^^ Especially with motorhomes even ignoring the time on the dealers lot the manufacturer might order thousands of base chassis at a time to save costs. There are plenty of 2007 motorhomes around on 244 chassis.

There are no changes that I know of on the X250 at that time.
I have also worked on 2006 registered and converted X250's and to my knowledge they are all the same to at least 2011

Dealer said (agreement to sell) "model 2009"

But now I know, that the year of construction ist 2007 "Prod. date: 12/9/2007".

And I guess that there were reasons for the dealer, to say "model 2009" and not "year of construction 2007".
For me this is not correct.

So I am interested in informations to prove that the car is model 2008 or 2007 and not model 2009.

There was no change of model between 2007 and 2011. The facts appear that the year of manufacture is 2007 and you bought it as new in 2009.
There is nothing more we can say. If he said " I will sell you a vehicle manufactured in 2009" then you obviously have a case but I doubt he said that. Only you know what your contract with the dealer was.

There are of course minor deviations. 2007 vehicles have an open space under the driver seat and a black foam toolbox under the passenger seat. A 2009 model may have ABS shells around the seat frames, these were not yet available in 2007.
Replacement parts between the model years may also differ, like brake and clutch parts. The only way to get the correct parts is through the VIN because Fiat sometimes makes changes within a model year.
