I have been quoted by Fiat over £350 for the vans first 30,000 mile service. Can I use any garage and will it affect the warranty. Thanks in advance.

Sounds a fair price, my 62 plate 3.0 180's covered 196000 and most the services were about that price, I used main dealer for peace of mind, knowing that warranty issues should be solved "no quibble" and I'm glad I did with all the water ingress related issues I had this year,

If you don't use main dealer, make sure whoever you use, puts in the correct oil and I don't just mean 5w40, it must be "low ash" oil due to the DPF filter, the selina oil that fiat use is good stuff and somewhere on here someone had it tested at JCB or CAT and it out lived it's 30k interval. Worth the extra ££

Also make sure the main dealer uses the correct "tick sheet" I had to educate the dealer in Cov as they keep on using the old 28k interval sheets, and when it got to 180k service they started at beginning with a 30k not 90k so never changed auxiliary belts!!
The 30k sheets are on the Italian service system not the uk system on their dealer computer systems

As I understand it (my best mate runs a non dealer garage) as long as the garage is VAT registered & the parts used are the same quality as original (best to get genuine TBH) Fiat can't quibble the warranty.
Try using the Good Garage Scheme to find a garage. If you're near Rugby then Jordan's Car Repair Services is my mates company ;)

I believe Gareth is correct, the only flaw is, fiat quibble over warranty work when it has been fully serviced at main dealer!
