New crankshaft sensor fitted and still the same hard to start and belching out white smoke mechanic cracked the four injectors to see if 1 was duff but they are all ok and still fault code P0335 is coming up got too dark so have left it until tomorrow night just hope the night fairies visit and repair it ??
Has the flywheel been checked for broken teeth, swarf, warpage etc. Oscilloscope on the crank sensor will tell you more than any obd code.

Sent the ecu to the ecu doctor in plymouth on weds and got it back today refitted it and hooray my motorhome is running the way it should. thanks to rolopolo and ecunotome for the replies

No the ecu doctor says there was something locked in my ecu so they cloned another one for plug and play so I'm happy with the result as my ducato is running as a 22,000 miler should ??
