I have just taken delivery of a new Motor Home. It has the new double DIN radio but does not appear to have any means of connecting with my iPhone/iPad so I cannot play my own music. At the handover I was told there was a USB connector in the central lap top compartment, but I can't find it. The unit has Media button, but when I read the manual, this button only appears to work if the radio has Blue & Me.
Can anyone confirm if this van does have a hidden USB if so where?
If not can one be added?

Are you sure its not there, right at the back you'd nearly have to stick you're head in to plug anything in, my buddy has a little extension cable on his for that reason.

Stuck my head underneath but can't see any socket. There is a square hole where I suspect it should be mounted. I have taken a foto, if I can remember how to upload it!!

Wonder should it be there, maybe the coachbuiler forgot to put it back after doing their own wiring.

Hi,Ithink i'd be straight back to the dealer explaining the problem and requesting them to sort it pronto.There is a verbal contract in place even if the usb is not a standard fitment.

Clearly items 15 & 16 are missing from yours, take it back.

I suspect I'll be told "sorry I was wrong, the USB connection is only there if you specify Blue & Me"
So my question is
What and how much is involved to get Blue & Me? I don't really need Sat Nav or Blue tooth for my phone as I have avery good Tom Tom mount and app on my iPhone.
Can the USB connected just be added and plugged into the rear of the radio?

OK, been back to the dealer. They say that hey thought it was there, it is on the Peugeot based Motor Homes.
They contacted the local Fiat Professional dealer who said the USB socket is only fitted with the Blue & Me option.
So back to the question.
Can a USB socket be fitted to a 2014 Ducato radio WITHOUT Blue & Me?

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but on all euro 5's I thought the radio/blue & Me was standard fit,
May be wrong but am sure I was told that when I bought mine 2yrs ago, not that I trust the salesman!

Rolopolo, apparently not. I am led to believe it can be retro fitted, but can't find out a what cost. I suspect it will not be cheap!

I posted a thread on the Blue & Me section of the Forum, but no one wants to answer me!

I have a 2014 Bessacar on Ducato with the same questions. Similarly Fiat dealers are not interested in answering.

I have a 2012 Peugeot Boxer motorhome now and always wondered where the USB connection is, after looking at your pictures I have just looked at mine and its the same as yours, no USB just an oblong hole.
