I have a Fiat Ducato (2000cc, 02 reg) and it has always been fine starting but recently it will not start.

If I squirt damp start into the engine it starts and runs until I switch it off, then we are back to square one and it will not start again. It works for miles but once it is off, I have to squirt damp start in again.

Dose anyone know what is wrong?

Hi if you own a laptop then you can down load the free version of multiecuscan and buy a £5-10 odb2 to USB cable and watch the live data on it. Need to check fuel pressure to see you have 275 plus bar to start a common rail diesel. Also they like a very fast crank speed so you could try adding a second charged battery normally makes the difference. Have seen lots of threads saying about easy start usage
