Hi all
Anyone experiencing an annoying rattle from the passenger airbag area of the dashboard?
Only started about a month ago (11 months from new)
Not engine speed related, not the fan, not radio connectors/wiring related, all reachable plastic panels "touched" whilst driving/rattling but can't stop it - have even removed top and bottom passenger glove boxes and still rattles!
Sounds like something tapping against something plastic or metal - hard to be sure but annoying the h#ll out of me! :bang:
Panda owners etc and others on this forum report similar rattles but can't find any Ducato references.
Bluddy thing.....!
(Abroad until June so can't "pop into local friendly dealer" easily)
Any others had the same, .......or (polite!) suggestions re airbag please!
2.3 2013 Fiat motorhome model, 3000 miles
cheers
John

Hi folks
50 views but no replies.
Damn..... I have the only rattly-dashboarded-Ducato! :D
:bang: :bang:
Ok, anyone got an easy method for removing the radio/cd - a clarion CZ102E - can't find it on web site. Special tool needed perhaps?
Oh what fun.....!
Happy Fiat-ing
Cheers
John

There should be four holes round the face, these are for the radio tool, you should be able to get them at halfords

Good luck ?

I had the airbag rattle on the Panda. With glovebox out, the airbag fixings can be seen. All I did was to slacken them, squeeze the airbag module tight into the dash and retighten the fixings. Seems to be ok.

I don't know the layout of your dash, but I assume you'll need to do something similar.
Best to disconnect battery for at least 10 minutes before moving airbag. This ensures that the capacitor is discharged so airbag won't go pop.
