Hi, I removed the injectors on my 91 Ducato 2.5td to get them serviced. Only one injector had a copper sealing washer. I checked to see if the other 3 washers remained in the head but I dont think so. I was also told that there may not be a need for washers due to the cone shaped seat of the injector sitting in a brass sleeve. But I do not think there is a brass sleeve in my head. It appears to be alu. Anyone know how they were originally fitted?? If I use copper washers and they should not be there, would lifting the injector approx 1mil affect the combustion?

Lifting the injector by 1mm wont affect combustion...having two or three fitted will though, and yes I have seen this done as folk cant get them out
