Hi
I have successfully downloaded the X250 manual, It has unzipped and mounted ok and opens up, the problem I have is that when I use the manual most of the pictures wont open and all I get is a blank square with an icon in the top left hand corner, I have checked all my settings and they all seem fine and my adobe is up to date so I am at a loss as to what is wrong.
Has anyone else had the same problem or have any ideas how I can sort this problem.
Regards
Mark

Hi -
Well Davren beat me to it - anyway -
Depending on what browser you are using as in IE 7 or earlier you need to download the Adobe SVG viewer. Apparently IE8?/9 & later have SVG support built in, as for Firefox Opera & Chrome I am not sure if their early versions or for that matter the later versions support SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) or not.
quote from Adobe website-
"Adobe has decided to discontinue support for Adobe SVG Viewer. There are a number of other third-party SVG viewer implementations in the marketplace, including native support for SVG in many Web browsers. The SVG language and its adoption in the marketplace have both matured to the point where it is no longer necessary for Adobe to provide an SVG viewer.
Adobe customer support for Adobe SVG Viewer will be discontinued on January 1, 2009
."
Just found this - Quote
"Do I still need an SVG Viewer?
SVG has come a long way since 1999. At that time, Adobe offered a special browser plug-in so SVG files could be viewed. Now, 12 years later, SVG is the graphics foundation of HTML5 and built into all of the major browsers. Below is a list of each browser and when it added reasonable SVG support. If you are using this release or later, you should be able to view SVG without problems. The Adobe SVG Viewer is no longer required.

> FireFox 4
> Opera 10
> Chrome 10
> Safari 5
> IE 8 "

Hope that may indicate what's wrong if your using an earlier browser.
Cheers

Thanks for your posts, I installed SVG from the X250 disc and it's working fine now.

Hi
That X250 CD manual is now quite a few years old & before the Automated Manual Transmission came out so only covers the manual versions. I don't think you will find any info on the "Auto Box" anywhere if that's what your after as I have looked myself but the rest of it should be similar.
The latest "eLearn" WSM is now only available from Fiat (to dealers) on a "KeyLearn" USB stick. So that X250 eLearn was probably the last eLearn WSM to escape to the net.
So the old X250 CD version is the best you can expect as Fiat doesn't want any vital repair info leaking out other than to their dealers.
Cheers
