Hi can't gett my cigarette lighter to work , no power to it , the fuse seems ok , any idears ,cheers

I had the same problem with the auxiliary power outlet in my Ducato. If the fuse is ok, it's cable or connector failure which can take many hours to find. Save time by running a new live and earth feed to it direct from the battery terminals, disconnecting the old wiring and insulating it. Use a 20amp inline fuse immediately after the battery + terminal.
