hi peeps can anyone offer me advise i have a ducato motorhome the brakes are spongy and the pedal travels after pressing, it has abs and i have never bled abs, my question is do you bleed abs in the normal way as there are two nipples on each of the front brakes, does it matter which nipple i do first, do i need to open both? thanks for any help laz

Hi
We have a 2003 244 with ABS & as it was due for a fluid change I just bled the brakes using the "normal" method, bleeder open - pedal down, bleeder closed - pedal up. As for the twin bleeders I suppose maybe do the upper most nipple first but if you get any air out through the top one there should be very little left from the bottom one when you do it.
Also did the clutch at the same time as on ours it uses the same master cylinder for fluid supply.
Cheers

If the caliper has two nipples, bleed the one on the same side as the pipe, and then the other.

Brke fluid is hygroscopic and once its absorbed water can boil under pressure so unless yours is under a couple of years only its worth flushing while you're bleeding it.
