Hi, my camper is a Fiat Ducato 2.8 JTD 15 LWB 2002-06 model HT02 WYU. The airbag light was on when I bought the vehicle and it has since been converted from 3 front seats to 2, but it only ever had one airbag - for the driver. The existing ECU is showing various faults on the computer readout including that the centre seat tensioner is missing. I now need a replacement airbag ECU that will service the single airbag. Can anyone help with either a Part Number for what I understand is the Ducato 'basic' ECU or even a working used one for a van with only two front seats and one air-bag

many thanks,

You just need a resistor to fool it into thinking the recoil is present, I have done it in mine, I disconnected the battery before disconnecting it so I'm not sure it the fault code will clear itself of if you need to clear it with lexia/multiecuscan/alfaobd.
Its supposed to be 3.3 ohms 1/2 watt from memory, I paralleled up 3 1/4 watt 10 ohm resistors because I have thousands of them. You can buy fused ones on ebay:

Don't be tempted to put an ohmmeter on the recoil unless you fancy it blowing up in your face.
The other option is remove the recoil from the old seat plug it in and and secure it to the single seatbase to stop it yanking the connector.
